Application
Connection between outdoor air conditioning equipment and electricity
The cable consists of an insulated conductor inserted into a non-metallic conduit with metal or PVC connectors.
The air conditioning whip consists of one (1) straight conduit, one (1) 90º connector and two (2) reducer washers. The three (3) conductors include 1/2" or 3/4" non-metallic liquid-tight conduit using 8 or 10 AWG THHN conductors.
AC whips are designed to be used reliably as a connection between the air conditioning unit and the power supply. Recommended for connection to compressors and AC isolation boxes. Easy to install in 4 and 6 foot lengths; resistant to damage from oil, water and sunlight. UL listed.
